This one is just for bed stuff - fridge and bed lights. Its "powered" by the solar. I just wanted to be able to keep an eye on how it's doing. I should also get one for the front

hey @tetten does the L-track match the height of the ribs in the bed? Also, how did you attach it to the bed - just drill and bolt/washer?

It sits pretty close to flush but poke up a hair. I have some, and an extra 48" chunk of it waiting to get installed somewhere. They pair nicely with a bed mat because then they're lower than the mat.

Thanks. I was going to tag you, but wasnt sure if you had it or not. Im thinking about using these to mount my fridge slide. Its currently mounted on a piece of 3/4" plywood. Im looking for different/other ways of strapping stuff down. And a little bit of weight reduction too.

So you want to bolt the L track to the bed, and then the fridge slide to the L track? Why not just skip the middle man and bolt your slide right to the bed? That's what I did, was just drill a few holes in the bed and bolted it down, nut and washer on the underside. But for strapping stuff down the L track is really great. It's a nice system.

I might just need to measure, but I have the bedside supports, and need the fridge to clear that. Right now, it hugs the wheel well, and the 3/4" plywood helps to clear bed bolt. Was just trying to remove the plywood part, as it goes all the way to the front of the bed.

it sticks a little above, but you could probably knock it down flush with a grinder and not lose much strength.

Just a countersink bolt in a hole drilled through the bed.

Hmm, interesting. Looks like this is set up for a huge draw.
I do like that bracket though, might have to look into something like that. Well see.
I also like the idea of those adjustable quick disconnect bolts in the link that you posted:thumbsup:.

How much power do you draw in your setup? How many circuits do you have / need?
Blue Sea makes those cool bus bars for 4 fuses https://www.ebay.com/itm/184314942802
Could mount them on those https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D26QTRK/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_nKG9EbEQ1K9QH (less the cool quick disconnect bolts....)

I dont need a fused setup, i have an sPod for that. But i was just thinking of cleaning up my battery posts. I have a couple things that are run directly to the battery, besides the winch - like my gmrs and cb radio. The busbar would get those connections off of the battery. And I wouldn't need to put them on the sPod. The quick disconnects just have some more terminals for accessories

Can a blue sea busbar be used for positive and negative?

Basically. I'd just be sure to put the cover on it, otherwise you'd have an easily accessible "hot" component for tomfoolery to come in contact with.

Was thinking of running it over where people put the blue sea trays. I may even relocate my spod over there. It bolted into the fuse box cover now. It works, but if i ever need to replace a fuse, its kinda hard to get to
