I’m needing some help with my 4x4. For the second time in my conversions life the add switch isn’t working. The first time the fuse blew to the switch. This time not so lucky it’s that easy. I have checked all the powers and grounds to and thru the switch, tested the switch and everything seems ok. I pulled the harness at the add and tested ground ok. I am confused as to the yellow wire, mine has power all the time. What can I look at next that I’m missing?

also, if anyone has the rst harness and dPdt switch where can I wire an indicator light to? The light in the switch is very dim and I can see it. Thanks

What did you connect to the nipple on the left side of the transfer case shifter.

Ok, so I have one hooked up to the one at the right side. I guess I need to put one on there then. What does it exactly do? Thanks for replying to the message.

For the DCLB I just drilled the rivets and moved the cross member back to an existing set of holes and bolted it in

How long did it take you to get all the different parts needed for the conversion?

Got all the major things pretty quick, what I had to wait the most on was the small parts. I started getting parts on 1/25 and had everything last Monday.

I just mostly followed this post and a little of others. I did ADD just wired the hardness myself and welded the transmission support ,fuck paying 169 for a switch and 365 for the rst parts( I ain't rich). I went single, one of the members here messaged me and sold me an extra one he had left over. Of and the driveshaft did fit, barley but it fit .

I approve of your conversion. Shifter is in the right spot, done on the cheap, lights all work. Well done.

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
looks great! I’m finishing mine this weekend. Which shifter did you end up using and how did you modify it? I don’t have a welder so I’m trying to get around a complete custom job.
