Hi! Do you have any 05 Tacoma front bumpers with 3 loops in stock that aren't powder coated?

I currently have another manufacturer's bumper on it which was powder coated that was installed around in '07, the winter salt in Vermont pretty much destroyed it so its time to replace it. Hopefully I'll have better luck here in Florida...

Also for lights, its either the Squadron Sport, LED Spot OR the Baja Designs Squadron Pro, not both correct?

Your website states the aluminum front bumper weighs around 60 lbs but doesn’t say how much the steel bumper weighs. Lately it’s been served on tacomaworld that people with heavy steel front bumpers are developing cracks on their radiator support, presumably from the stress of the heavy bumper. I want to avoid this serious problem at all costs but am unsure if your aluminum bumper is strong enough or the steel is light enough. Can you give me the weight and a percentage of strength? Aluminum = 60% of the steel bumper for example.

Depending on the year the weight goes up or down. The 2005-2015 aluminum weighs around 50lbs the 2016-2020 is around 42lbs. The steel counter parts are 2005-2015 110lbs-120lbs and the 2016-2020 is 100lbs-110lbs.

I'd like to see the pictures of the core support cracking, this was a common issue on the FJC but it was back where near the fire wall where the aprons attached to the body. There was lots of speculation on how it happened. I wouldn't say it was due to a heavy bumper as the bumpers don't hang on the body, they hang on the frame. I would be more inclined to say it's caused by contact when the bumper and the body or the tires and or the inner fender well.
For the FJ cruisers it was almost a guaranteed if you jumped your FJ your inner fenders would have a tear or a bulge. Which is what they called it "the bulge". But some people started noticing it with huge bumpers as well and I could only assume it was because the bumpers were contacting the body and causing stress to that area.

I like the bumper I finally received after of getting the run around. I hope you guys improve the process of being to give your customers, that made a deposit, an accurate inventory and somewhat meet the ETA. I rescheduled a trip to go see a friend in SC a few times and finally cancelled it due to being told my order was soon to be shipped out.

"We have the bumper in stock but just need to weld on the tubes." Around June 2
"ETA is 2-3 weeks" June 24 (whatever happened to the bumper in stock?)
"Updated lead time is 2 weeks" July 21
"Bumper is assigned to a welder" Aug 5
"Our supplier screwed up and they have to recut the right plates for us for the light bar bumper. But we can make it without the light bar mount." Aug 27
Me: "Just send me the bumper without the light bar mount."
"Oops, we don't actually have parts for that one either but we will send you aluminum bumper at no additional charge." Aug 27
    Nothing.... Sept 14
"I want a refund of my deposit." Sept 14
"We understand your frustration and sorry for the miscommunication, blah blah blah..." Sept 14

Around early October I finally receive the bumper, its got the light bar mount but its definitely not the aluminum that I was told I was going to be upgraded to.

Bummer. I am about 2 weeks from putting in an order and DO was on my short list. So is Victory. Victory seems to have better CS. Thanks for the update.
