I am considering getting a 1950# 7x14 v nosed enclosed trailer. Any input on the towing capability of my 3rd gen taco would be appreciated.

I already have airbags and trailer brakes installed

It’ll tow the trailer just fine. It’s all about the total weight when you load it up. What are you going to use it for? How much weight you think you’ll put in it?

I have a 7 x 16 cargo trailer camper conversion that weighs in at around 5000 lbs. My Taco will tow it but it's a dog. I guess a trailer the same size but 2000 lbs would be pretty manageable. Like sprig said it depends what you're putting in the trailer and also how far and where do you plan to tow it?

Also depends on height. My 6x12 is tall, and adds a ton of wind resistance. my camper is shorter (and heavier) and tows much easier.
