Take it to another dealer and have them check the VIN for any recalls or TSB's that might apply.

What aftermarket shit did you install under the hood as those 4 bangers are usually trouble free.

I can't be happy either, but it's more to do with nihilism.

Llyod, it sounds like you should be signing up for a new account on "anywhereelseworld.com" instead of joining this pack of freaks that roams the 3rd Gen. outback.

OP, did you take the advice in your first thread about the EXACT same thing? You know check your VIN or try another dealer or are you just hear to rant :goingcrazy:

How many miles are on your truck? Mines not a 4 cylinder but it definitely drove a little strange like you describe for some time at highway speeds. Seems like it's learning some and the driver may also better understand how the truck responds to the "non-linear" throttle. I have few complaints now.

Did you not notice this when you test drove the vehicle before purchasing?

or never test drove it and and is now pissed it's not driving like a streetlight race car. It's a donkey not a drag car. Good luck on the car search.

I bet the Ridgeline doesn't have this problem. You should buy one.
