2019 Tacoma SR 4cyl. surging , bucking, missing

My SR 4 cyl. surging, bucking , or starving for fuel , or missing. Been to the shop 3 times, and was told that no codes show any misfires. any one else having this problem ? very annoying to drive

I have a 2017 2.7 5 spd. no problems. Are you running your AC? sometimes when the compressor switches on you may notice a "slight something"

 

Check your VIN number on Toyota’s owner site for a recall. There is a current recall for fuel pumps on certain vehicles.

 

I'm having similar problems with my 2017 2.7 auto 2wd Taco

 

Have you contacted the local dealership to see if you fall under the recall

 

Ya I'm in Canada and there's no updates here for the problem

 

My taco does shake and has been since day 1.

 

Damn that sucks, I'm guessing no warranty either?

 

Are you sure it's a 2.7? and not a 3.5? Sounds like crazy talk, we all know the 2.7 is perfect and it's the 3.5 that's a POS.

That whats on this forum anyway.

 

Just keep telling yourself that 2.7 is a cream puff. That engine is so weak it couldn't pull the skin off a piece of chicken

Lol seen that. 2.7 is still better than the 3.5 lol. 2.7, 3.4, 4.0 are the good tacoma engines.

 

The 4.0 are having major head gasket issues. Or have you blocked that out?
