It is a good feeling when you buy something for your truck and Install it. It is a much better feeling when you create something in your mind and then spend time fabricating and install it. Your truck looks great. Props for all the DIY :fistbump:

I would prep that top and hit it with 3 good coats of spray or roll on textured bed liner and be done. Just my .02.

I just put in one of these today. But the problem is the unit isn't centered properly and I can't figure out why. I mean, it's all bolted in properly, or seems to be, using the OEM brackets. It's shifted to the left, so I can't get that black bezel thing to fit over the unit.

Here's my solution for USB connectivity. I put it right under the left-side passenger vent. Drilled a 5/8" hole and used a deburring tool until a tight fit was achieved.

I have to hold mine center while tightening or else it gets cocked to the left. Also do you have a link for the usb port?

Thanks I'll try that right now actually. Here's the USB port: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078LMBQM6

When popping off that piece below the vent, there's a connector with some wires mounted in a dummy bracket. But the dummy bracket appears to be exactly centered, so I drilled a little pilot hole right in the center and then got my 5/8" bit. I used a deburring tool to shave off more and more until it fit. Seems like a pretty tight fit right now. Could potentially loosen over time.

What have I done? Not much except stockpile projects that I’ll finally start getting to this weekend

Including but not limited to: sound deadening, new Plano cases on the rack (one of the old ones started leaking), radiator bushings, @MESO Roof molle panel and starting to determine my solar panel set up.

Thats kind of the direction I'm leaning towards. I'm liking the idea of smooth bedliner like what @EatSleepTacos used on his truck.

Installed the aluminum tailgate cap from @KB Voodoo , it paired up nicely with my tailgate reinforcement from @Mobtown Offroad. Pretty happy on how it lined up w my ARE canopy & keeps it from rubbing on the tailgate89E8A435-41BF-404B-8200-20D80789316D.jpg6374132D-2A17-45B5-9FA9-D457529ECFAF.jpg

Installed meso gas hole, repainted splash guards, made some flag poles, started on the intake manifold spacer.

I should probably clean my gas fill area, it's disgusting

Didn't do anything to the truck, but did do things for it - ordered some Red Line hood struts and filter for the UNI Mod.

Im a simple man, I see wildpeaks and I like. What load rating are they? SL? I was always curious how much better my truck would handle with a lighter load tire.

Stance looks great, are you running a front spacer?

That paint is dripping, looks pristine!

Before I did this mod I was always gladly welcomed with gray sewage when changing my diff fluid. Living in Houston means your vehicle will double as a boat at times

Looks ultra rigid.. I need to do the same. I see you have the tailgate backing plate on there as well. I stared at mine a few times and it bent
