Im new to this game. I have a blazing blue tacoma that has no MODS. The first purchase I wanted to make is the TRD 4 runner rims (part number PTR2035110BK) and was wondering if there are any deals in Canada. Most of the posts are posted in the states but with the shipping cost and duty fees, the cost will be too high. I imagine there will be some sales with canada day deals like there are independence deals in the states.

    Cheers,
    Jo

Yup those are the wheels I am looking for. The dealership in Victoria BC is asking about $400 after taxes for each rim. I want to see if they are cheaper anywhere else. I could get them for approx $180 US but then after shipping cost/ duties and conversion to CAD dollars I would be looking on paying almost $300-325 per wheel. I dont want any knockoffs.

They are pretty expensive yes. I paid around that price for each rim. Anything trd is very overpriced in canada. For example, trd exhaust in states is like 650, in canada 1450.
SR bezel is 80 in states, in canada 180...

Totally agree with you that it is all overpriced especially at the dealerships. Hmmm I might have to get it shipped in from US and pay all the duties and taxes.

Yes it really sucks, thats why it takes forever to save for mods. :pout:

I look at some trucks on here though... and man the mods would cost thousands for us in canada.

None yet really. Fold-a-cover G4 Elite tonneau cover. Will get new tires...
Did you end up sourcing these rims in Canada? I'm in Vancouver. Looking for same (and will be selling my stock 16" TRD Pro Tacoma rims)

Best price I have seen in Canada is $300/wheel from Sherwood Park in Edmonton (who were very helpful and forthcoming btw). However, after shipping costs it would have cost me almost the same as the rip off price my local Vancouver dealer was offering. So I chose to hold my nose and get ripped off.

I'm curious - if you already have the tacoma pro wheels, are you just trying to swap out 16" for 17"? I had a little trouble selling my stock sport rims (took about a month, and several deep discounts), but I'd think your pro wheels would go fast. But I'm also surprised you don't like the 16"-ers.

Thanks for your reply. I did find Sherwood online in my search. Waiting to see what my local Toyota dealership offers me, but I expect same result as you. I do like the 16" pro rims, but prefer the look of the 17".

Did you look at Wheelsco in Ontario? I know they are aftermarket but I bought a set of 17" Tacoma Trd Pro style wheels from them last april and I've had no problems with them. These are just my summer wheels,no winter salt and brine exposure, and the only off roading I do is my driveway.

So hard to find em at a decent price. I remember wanting these really bad...it looks like you can get replicas (there's a few trusted replica brands that make these) for about $160ish a wheel shipped from CanadaWheels or a few others. Might be a better route than going OEM.
