    I prefer ScanGaugeII as a standalone product. Plug it into the OBDII, no need to use your phone or any apps or whatever. Can set up to monitor 4 gauges at any one time.

    Does it matter what year your truck is? I have Torque Pro and have tried adding the PID's several times on several occasions over the years and I can't get trans temps to read????

    I had the same issue. Looking at post 15, in the formulas, change A,B,to E,F, and give it a try. For the other formula, change C,D to G,H. I found this fix in another thread.

    I know my answer is probably wrong but , why not just install a temp probe into the transmission and to a guage on the dash to read transmission temp

    That works. Just gotta decide where you want to cut the line. Make sure the fittings are the correct size before you cut though.

    The easiest location to install a temp probe is the transmission pressure test port . This is located on the transmission case itself and is a threaded plug you remove
