I replaced the factory tow trans cooler with a other unit. How does 180 trans at pan and 202 water temps sound when cruising in 4 @ 60mph w/ outside temp of 88.
    Does this sound fine?

Edit: this is while towing a 3,700 dry weight travel trailer.

why did U change out coolers. .........................?????

what truly determines adequate cooling is capacity/circulation
no less ' Load ' on the engine makes a huge difference

ambient temps always are always a factor
im not alarmed by Ur numbers
yet i dont know Ur predominant driving

    good luck

Completely normal, my temps were on par with yours while towing the same size trailer(after my bigger trans cooler was installed). Not towing my fluid would only reach around 150 lol

My OG trans cooler i saw temps in the 230 on a 90 degree day with a slight incline

You can always add a bigger pan for a little more fluid capacity. This pan game me 2.5-3 qrts of extra fluid. Pml covers. This one was a proto type before they sold them to the public. Temp wise I’ve only monitored it while cruising. Hasn’t hit 190 while cruising. A47490DC-B139-4653-AE8E-AC6E278A616C.jpg
