Truck is at the body shop (almost). Ran into a stop sign pole (long boring story) and if insurance doesn’t total it out (which I’m praying the don’t), I’d love to upgrade my front bumper. As I know these can typically take long lead times to order, and I’m sure the body shop won’t like holding them up waiting on it, I am seeing what options or ideas folks might have. I’m assuming IF allowed, I would request the shop to order an aftermarket part in lieu of the oem bumper. Anyways. Thanks in advance guys.

bump anyone got any updates ? Happy 4th everyone.

truck is finally at body shop now getting evaluated. Hoping they don’t try and total it out but would love an opportunity to try and upgrade the bumper since it will need replacing anyways. Do u have to time these things just right doing something like this ? Thanks. Guessing I’d have to have body shop place order if so ? Or if anyone happens to know any vendor with any cancelled orders maybe needing to get out the warehouse by chance. Thanks guys. Just trying to time this right and upgrade but it seems like these bumpers have such long lead times I don’t know how people get them replaced so soon when having accidents and trying to upgrade. Any tips I’d love to hear as this is all new to me

I ordered a SOS concepts front bumper and have been happy with it. There was about a 2 week lead time, but that was a couple of months ago.
