Few months ago something happened to the passenger window where it would only go down and you’d have to rapidly up and down the switch for the window to go up. Just hooked up the new motor/regulator assembly and it was set to the middle so I push the window down and it goes down, but it’s back to the problem in the beginning, it won’t go up. Replaced OEM switches a year ago with chiYNA ones. Only passenger window won’t go up using both sides of window control. Any ideas?

Swicthes on the master assembly or on the passenger door?

Look at the contacts if the switches and see if they are covered in carbon build up. If so, use contact cleaner to clean up the contacts.

Here is my master switch assembly with dirty contacts. I had the same problem. Window wouldn’t go up. After cleaning the contacts it worked as new.

Both sides will make it go down but not up. Do these have relays?

Quite possible you have a open circuit in either the wires coming out of either door

If the right door seldom gets used most likely the left.

I guess nothing was checked with a meter prior to swapping parts

    Break out the Meter !!!

Bold of you to assume I know how to properly use one of those. I did bust it out and accomplished nothing.
