Just installed Cardone Select 665235HD CV axles in my Taco w/ a 2.5" lift. Next day noticed a crease/kink in one of the boots. Not sure how it happened. In the process of trying to work it out, I made it worse. Tomorrow I may remove the wheel, and jack up the suspension to level out the axle which may make it easier to work it out.

Someone on youtube used pliers to pluck out the kink. I did try that but was too nervous about tearing it. Any recommendations?

Who pissed in your corn flakes this morning. I'm worried the pinch will eventually tear the boot prematurely

I would think youd be able to pull that kink out just with your fingers. Id be worried it will come right back though as soon as you drive again though. May want to look around at some aftermarket boots.
