I noticed that about his stock when I went looking around. He took my old Tacoma, changed out the headlights, taillights, wheels, and tires from stock to aftermarket ones. The old Taco was out of warranty (minus powertrain), so guess it wasn't really a huge "loss" for him. Every once in a blue moon, I'll gander through thru their stock again just to see what's there. I really wanted to make that drive to Hattiesburg and pickit up from there.

And he was a straight shooter. Got me a price and monthly payments I could afford. Hopefully I can keep the blue one a long time. But if anything ever happens, they'll certainly be at the front of my book for another truck.

Been a little while since anyone has posted in this little forum, so here is my truck overlooking the delta in Desoto Co. west of Horn Lake going towards Walls on Church Rd last week. Got a beautiful sunset! 20200610_202705.jpg

How did everyone do with Zeta? We got power back last night and thankfully we got the roads clear enough Thursday/Friday that we don’t have to work through the weekend.

Minimal damage to the house but we lost about 50’ of fence.

3.5” rain and maybe 50-60mph gusts a little west of Hattiesburg. Not bad at all.

Anyone in Southern MS have any recommendations on a place to get a cab mount chop done? I'm in an apartment complex currently so doing it myself is unfortunately not an option.

Coming from a 1st gen I had to google it. Doesn’t look that hard to do honestly. Buy a grinder, a pack of cutoff wheels, and a 2# shop hammer if you don’t have one. Harbor Freight and maybe return the grinder and hammer? Swing by Lowes, Home Depot, or Tractor Supply and get a piece of wide flat bar to make the filler cap plates using the same grinder and cutoff wheels.

Any body shop would be able to wire weld that plate on for you. Maybe looking at $20-30 depending on how they feel. Any welding shop could do it, too. Today is Friday so if you did it today and asked them sometime after lunch and refer to your payment as “beer money” or say something like “how much beer money would it set me back” I bet it’d get welded within the hour.

Putting feelers out for someone to do an OVTune in Mississppi? Located in north MS, but willing to travel statewide. I've put feelers in Ark, Alabama, TN, and LA. It would be AFTER New Years to get it done. If you are or know someone doing this, please let me know or DM me.

    TIA!

Quick question: planning a quick road trip to Natchez next Saturday (Jan 16). Are there any decent places open in the area to eat considering COVID? Or any local places that serve good food (i.e. besides the regular fast food places like Wendy's, BK, and McD's).

Where from to Natchez? I haven’t been to Natchez in ages but I bet there’s something available.

Coming from Desoto Co. I have quick access to 61 via I-69, so it'll be a straight shot down.

69/269 are new highways they put in a few years ago. They start/end in Tunica Co. and head north bypassing Memphis to the east.
