@the.sight.picture @PyritePirateBill and me are the closest to peters mill from this board. They both had their trucks modified heavily; i roll stock through peters mill every couple of weeks with the boys; by myself; middle of the night... you will be fine taking it slow. get a skidplate and you will be good. I might join sunday depending how things go.

I just got my truck recently as well and took them off for that reason at the same time I took the TRD Sport front skirt off. Too much stuff hanging down that's easy to rip off :burnrubber:

I'm considering taking them off generally but I gotta imagine the moment I do is the moment I get seriously unlucky on the highway or something lol

Looking for it but it seems like the communication may have been regarding ham bands only... Either way, it's up to you and it's a negligible risk so long as you're not being an ass while using them. Baofengs are rated to roughly the same wattage as handheld GMRS radios so as long as you stick to the true GMRS frequencies and avoid FRS (where you're limited to 1W) then your odds of getting caught are probably up there with winning the lottery.

Front skirt also came off because I thought it was ugly. Id also like to get into some more technical wheeling fairly soon.

Think I'm about to fail inspection because of the leaf springs I trimmed for the hammer hangers.

Just operate it on the approve GMRS frequencies...aside from that I can't comment
I'd ask to see the code citation!

I don't even argue with them anymore. I just go someplace else. He also showed me there's a little movement in my upper ball joint. On my JBA control arms. I'll do some looking when I get home.
