Looking at their classic daily driver high back and their summit elite series. Those are their narrownest seats to fit with the stock center console. Realistically I should just build lower mounting brackets for the stock seats though.

did you think about air bag emulators? Thats what i plan on doing for my truck. Not sure how i'm going to address the weight sensor though. Maybe the thing listed above will work.

Nah I didn’t. Wasn’t concerned about tricking the system, just didn’t want the annoying light on the dash and since the dash was out and apart I just popped the led off

I was thinking about the same. I think they only look for lights on when they do a safety inspection, but i'm hoping the emulators will make the system check out ok if someone plugs into the obd port.

Yeah where I’m at there’s no emissions or safety inspections so I wasn’t concerned. Basically can do whatever I want and the truck will still be legal

if its tricks the system to thinking someone is sitting there then that works. Other airbags id still want to work even if the seat one is not a available. I may try to swap sensors from the seats or see if I can wire int and somehow use the one in the seats. (different car maker). if the bypass is available its cheap enough to get me by at first.

So who's going to be the one to buy the new Ford Bronco when it goes for sale at the dealers?

Maybe three years from now once they shake out the bugs. I am Ford guy, but no sub for the Tacoma.

Yeah but let's be real here Zipp, it's a Ford, they will always have bugs. Lol. I must admit, they are pretty darn good looking and seem to have a lot of function as well rivaling that of Jeep, but offered in more various packages.

Anyone tried racing a 3.5l eco boost? I would think our trucks have a better power/weight ratio.

I'm no longer well versed with all the different engines and their call signs.....

.....but if the 3.5l eco boost is what is found on the updated Raptor, i think he's got me by 3-4-5 or 6 truck lengths.

Ive seen the new 6cyl turbo Raptor completely eat up the previous Gen Raptors with the V8. They are cannibalistic.

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
Sometimes I think of dropping down from the 285/75r17 Range E for some 285/70r17 and save a ton of weight and get that power down. Really like these Wildpeak AT3W. They hook up so well in all scenarios. But I spend more time on gravel and pavement then in the rocks. Anyone dropped in size and felt satisfied with the performance trade off? Would be nice to snack on a raptor if they ever showed up at the track!

That's ~25lbs / corner in weight savings. Wonder what that would feel like, bet I could hit Mach1!

won’t make as much difference as you think. That is unsprung mass and you would see the greatest difference in reducing the radius. However, removing two radial belts from the outer loop can help with less rotational force. You will definitely see better suspension performance but acceleration probably won’t be butt dyno significant.

Speaking of butt dynos, in one hour I am going to get my truck dyno'ed for the first time ever. Should be an interesting event. :)
