So did you still leave room for a screw or bolt to go through the top? I don't want the gap in my console since my hubby says it will just be harder to keep clean and not look as good. I honestly think they make a quality product and I love US made items from smaller businesses.

So, I received the custom cup holders from Taylor today! They look great. The bottle fits perfect. Unfortunately, my truck is at the shop, so I'll need to take pictures of them installed later. If anyone wants this custom "Taco package", for now, I recommend reaching out to Taylor at: taylor@staticclimbing.com

What size hydroflask is the orange one? Does the custom ones have thinner loops or single layer so the gap isn't as large?

They're both 32 oz. I was going to have her do a single layer for the loop, and she was down, but I opted-out because the gap doesn't bother me so much, I can always do it in-house, and I wanted the bag to be dual purpose in case I repurpose it later on down the line with a belt or something... :notsure: But, for sure, she has been viewing this thread, and can do it like @Steinbeck 's post #83 (and others) if you request it.

I wanted to thank OP for this idea. I didnt have a chalk bag so I used a Maxpedition Rolypoly I had laying around. I like the ability to remove quickly with the velcro, and the ability to fold up.20200714_080944.jpg 20200714_081002.jpg 20200714_081022.jpg

Installed my holder I got off Amazon today for my 64oz hydro flask.

Works great! BUT you have to do some sewing. I had some thin 1” wide luggage straps laying around as well as tension adjusters that come with the straps. So what I did is sewed a loop at one end of the strap where the bolt or whatever you use goes through and gets inserted into the center console area. I followed what a previous poster did and snipped off the strap right after the loop so that only one thickness of strap is coming through from the center console. No gap! I left the straps about 6-8” long so that I had enough to put them through the tension adjusters and create a loop that goes through another strap I sewed onto the pouch. I sewed the strap on the pouch horizontally and threaded the straps coming from the center console through the horizontal strap on the pouch and then back through the tension adjusters. This makes it easily removable and adjustable. Sounds like a lot but actually very very simple. Here are some pics

No problem at all, it has been working as expected. Definitely a must for oversized containers. According to the yeti website it is 3.75", I measured closer to 4" with a tape measure though. The bag has around a 5" opening so it has plenty of room

I ordered two of the Static Climbing waxed canvas bags from Taylor. She is awesome to communicate with and I had her modify mine to have the nylon liner and a single layer with a loop in the end....... will post more when I get them. I can honestly say so far her customer service is #1 in my book!! I am stoked to get them.

I'm interested to see these when they come in. Were these bags more than the normal one on her site? What are the differences everyone is requesting? No draw string, thinner single loop, nylon inner liner, what about the bag diameter?

For mine I requested that she make a single thickness with an "ink pen" size loop on the end to hold the anchor. I left it with two straps and the original size (I think). She gave me plenty of options to customize and didn't charge me extra above her website cost. She asked me to just e-mail her with my order confirmation number once I picked which bag I wanted and she would customize it to my options. SUPER communications via e-mail. I opted to keep the draw string after I order two Cokes in the tall glass bottles the other day and they ended up out of the cup holders and in the floor. I figured with the bags I could cinch them down if I kept the drawstring. I also have bike bottles I use that are taller and figure I could do the same with them. I will post pictures when I get them in. Not sure when I will have time to install but will also post the installation.
