Alignment shops

Looking for a solid alignment shop in the dfw area! I have a 3 inch lift with 285/70/17 and have been rubbing the cab mount pretty good (I have a CMC).

 

Gonna need some uca’s.

Discount Auto and Tire Shop in Plano work on lowered cars and lifted trucks.

 

Tandem Auto in Haltom City does great work on Toyota's.

Tandem Auto aligned mine last week. Recommend you call to set up appointment first.

 

Pablo is out until end of August. he's about to have his second.

 

Just out of curiosity, what do they charge over there?

I just had mine done over at Discount Auto and Tire in Plano since that is only a few miles from me.
They do charge extra for lifted trucks. $125 for the job. They knocked it out in only 30 minutes, so I don't know about why they charge an extra $50 over their normal $75 charge though.

 

The Discount Tire store near me didn't offer alignment service. Tandem charged $130 out the door.

 

The place in Plano is not a Discount Tire, although it is easy to confuse them based on the name. It is an independent shop.

 

You happy with the results? Still waiting on my coilovers but was really leaning towards using them since they are so close.

 

They seem fine. Truthfully, I should have gotten UCA's before doing it. The camber is just about at the limit with the 2.5" Eibach lift that I have on it. They give you the printout like normal to show you all the specs. They say that they give a 6 month warranty, so I will go back to have them adjust it after I put the Dirt King UCA's that I have coming on it. If they help out without giving me grief, then I will have a solid thumbs up for them. If not, then just OK at best.....

 

great to know they have a warranty. That was one concern I had of going to tandem and if something was not right, I didn’t want to have to drive all the way back over to get it corrected. The warranty is appealing especially with them being so close.
