    Hey there,

Ive been running a pair of driving combo xl80s and a racer edition 20" OnX6 on my front bumper for a while. I love the xl80s.
But Im looking for more down range light, more fill. At first i was thinking just add another XL80 because I really like there pattern and output. But now Im considering swapping out the XL80s for two new LP6s.

So how do the LP6s compare to the xl80s? Obviously with the IPT leds the closeup fill will be better with the lp6s but what about down range fill? Will I still get similar throw?

The numbers say the xl80s put out more forward lumens, but the LP6 is putting out more Watts/amps.

Anyone have experience comparing these two lights?

The LP6 will provide more distance due to the number of forward facing optics. In Driving/Combo, the LP6 has 4 spot optics where the XL80 has 2 in the same pattern. This results in additional distance

I figured the 4 spot optics would help with the down range light.

    Thanks for the reply

Ive actually already picked up two new LP6s so Ill update it whenever I get a chance to swap them out.
