Great idea and mod. Thanks OP.

Installed mine on the driver side. My seat is far enough back it doesn’t really get in the way and leg just goes right over it. Fits my 40oz ThermoFlask perfectly.

I've been using an adaptor, which sits in the rear cupholder. Happy with that although it rattles sometimes.

This is a great idea. Might still use it anyway for a garbage receptacle or additional cup holder for road trips.

    Thanks for the post, OP!

Love the simple solution to my 3 year old problem. I chose this bag solely on the topographic lines that I’ve always liked. The brand is Survivor if anyone else likes it, easily found on Amazon.

Put mine in today, picked this up for $20 shipped from the Static Climbing website. Best thing I've done to date, sick of my bottle rolling around the cab.

I bought and installed one too and it's great. I had Taylor at STATIC Climbing do the "Tacoma customization" to mine i.e. smaller diameter to fit a Hydroflask and singled straps with end loops. She did this at no extra cost and even shipped the same day I ordered it, all while emailing me back and forth to make sure she made exactly what I wanted. Talk about awesome customer service!

I just used a zip tie to mount mine behind the clip. No worries of anything coming loose that way and probably no rattles either. Pictures of that are in the album linked above.

Oh and a doggie waste bag fits nicely if you'd rather have a trash bin. :p

Will the “Tacoma Special” still fit a 32oz Nalgene as well or does it get too narrow? Anyone know?

According to Hydroflask, the 40oz pictured in my post above is 3.58" in diameter.
According to Nalgene, a 32oz is 3.5" in diameter.

    Should work just fine.

Just finished installing my Static Climbing bags (oxblood in color to match the red accents in my Pro interior). I cannot say enough about Taylor (taylor@staticclimbing.com) for the customization (no extra charge). I had her do a single strap with one small loop on the end so I wouldn't have any gap in the console after install. she also mirrored the bags and has the ink pen loop for a modified "Taco Package" so to speak. I had her replace the fleece with the nylon interior (easier to clean if sugar drinks spill) and left the original size bag and drawstring (in case I have tall smaller diameter bottles I can tighten them down). Here are the pictures of the bags and after install.

IMG_2423.jpg Quality heavy waxed canvas and excellent craftsman ship. Made in USA!! Taylor and Static Climbing for the win. I have the mirrored on on the passenger side. My 1L Nalgene fits, bike bottles fit, and 1L Camelback fits.

Looks great. Did they charge anything extra to do the custom work? I was going to buy one and just have a local shop modify the loops, but if they’ll do it before shipment that’s even better.

Check out kifaru, a USA made back pack company. There pack nalgene holder works too.

Thanks OP! Got the same one but took the logo off since I don't climb.... I'm weird like that. Literally the quickest and easiest mod I've ever done!

I e-mailed here at Taylor@staticclimbing.com before I ordered and told her what I had in mind. She had me order the bag I wanted off the Static Climbing website and then email her the order # so she could customize it. Great communication during the process and she did exactly what I had asked with no extra charge. They are awesome and I have used them all weekend over forest roads with two full 1L camelback bottles in them. NO Issues whatsoever. They look cool too.
