    Should I sell my Glock 19X so I can upgrade my 2020 TRD OR? These sell at a premium in private markets in CA since they’re off roster. It’s brand new, have not fired one single round.

    Here in CA, your average Joe can’t go to the gun store and purchase this. It’s “off-roster.” Californians can only buy Gen 3 Glocks and limited to 10 rds. This gun sells for over $2k.

    If youre hell bent on selling one (I wouldn't) I'd say the 19 Gen 5

    19x Austrian aren't nearly as easy to replace

    Being off rooster doesn't mean you can't buy and sell an off roster handgun. Have a look at the California private party sales. They are totally legal to buy and sell that way through an FFL, within the State. I was looking a couple of weeks ago at 19's and there were several with in 2 hours drive for not much more than you turned your nose up on. Being informed is important and it is not easy in Calif. There is also several exceptions, with a little digging the info is out there.

    Read what I said. I said an average joe can’t go to a STORE and purchase an off roster gun. Never said anything about private party sale. I’m fully aware anyone can buy off roster guns through PP sale, which is what would happen if I sell this gun.
