I know threres a handful of old threads on this. But i am contemplating an exhaust set up eventually to get a little more performance out of my truck. Any info is appreciated. Is there a rear cat that can be deleted ? I know of the LCE headers. Any other gen 3 guys done any exhaust mods on their 2.7 ? Thx.

I did the LCE header and an aFe "hi-tuck" catback. It was a little too loud for me so I cut the muffler out of the catback and threw a vibrant racing ultraquiet resonator and a flowmaster Delta 50 muffler. Its way more tolerable but I kinda wish I just left it with the header only. Live and ya learn hah

URD makes a cat delete pipe,

However, I do want to mention that now days you're not really going to gain performance by deleting the cat since they're so well optimized. It would only make a difference if you had forced induction, which is what this kit is actually for.
