Good luck reading! Just buy the Mpvi2 and credits, hit up justdsm for a tune which im pretty sure unless requested another way he is putting my latest "V13" auto trans tune on if you have an auto trans.

Also, did a first longer drive loaded down with V13 and super happy with it when loaded down (2 smaller jetskis on a trailer, with a bed and rear seats full of camping gear)

He is sending the V13 :) Least based on file naming he is. I just did my tune on Monday. Super quick and easy to do and justdsm was very easy to work with.

Glad to hear it did well towing too. Ill be towing my MR2 (~3500 pounds trailer and car) ~1200 miles over a bunch of mountain passes next week

That is correct, unless the customer needs/wants something different I use @nd4spdbh's excellent trans calibrations as standard fare for auto guys. No need to re-invent the wheel, his stuff WORKS!

I was feeling the need for speed today ...well, at least hoping I could squeeze a bit more pep out of my N/A truck so I loaded @nd4spdbh 's STSB3 tranny tune onto @JustDSM 's v2 engine tune. It was spicy o_O indeed but a tad bit too much for me. I thought about going back to v13 but then decided to try the STSB2 and found it might be just about the right amount of spice for me...like 'medium' salsa... Thanks guys :hattip:as always!

If you feel as though STSB2 is still too spicy we can make something between the "standard" v13 tune and STSB2, just let me know what you would like!

Hey quick question for ya, or really anyone using your trans tune. Does any feel like the truck wants to stay in 3rd gear a little too long? I was having issue with the HPT software so I am wondering if a reflash would fix it, but sometimes my truck does not want to go out of 3rd. I have to go D-4-D then it will shift to 4th. Sometimes I will have to do the d4d to get it into 5th but most of the times it seems to want to stay in 3rd.

A lot of times when stuff like that happens its a simply function of the transmission "AI" stepping in and holding onto a gear longer than it should due to it perceiving a hill or something where it doesnt think it would be able to upshift and hold that gear.

I personally dont mind it holding onto the gear for a length of time before upshifting even if its like hmm why?, because for the most part in the hills the AI does a decent job.

It didn't do it until my latest flash, which to me is weird because it does it on flat ground. I find it annoying but maybe because it will chill at like 3,000 rpms and that is where the exhaust starts to get loud on the truck. I may reflash it again just to see if that solves it.

I've had this happen as well. 3-4 and 4-5. This is on the stock trans tune as well. Not using any of ND4's stuff.
