    Hello,

I have a 2018 trd off road with a three inch old man emu lift on stock rims with stock size durtraks(33s will be on post covid lol). I currently have rock sliders and a RTT overland setup. I plan on going on a 18 day trip starting from the badlands through Yellowstone down to Colorado and eventually MOAB up to Yosemite and finishing down in San Diego(general route). I want to see some sweet things and have fun with single vehicle overlanding trails. Would love some ideas from you all on this forum about anything cool. I know my taco can handle a decent amount with the current setup, but I am not the most seasoned so I am looking for personal experiences you all have on any cool campsites and trails in any of these national parks along this route! thanks y'all.

Definitely plan your time: you have a lot of it but that's an epically awesome route.

The Gallatin Nat'l Forest is beautiful, free camping right outside Yellowstone (bear boxes at sites, make sure to take precautions). For Yellowstone, bring the good bug spray and don't miss Grand Prismatic.

Stock up on good beer in CO before you hit UT.

PM me if you want to wheel around Moab: Potash to Shafer to 313 is a mild scenic route, Fins is a quick fun slickrock intro. Come into town via 128.

North Rim of the Grand Canyon is an ~6hr total detour if you're headed from Moab to Yosemite, but well worth it (cookies at Jacob Lake Inn, also clutch) and swings your route through Vermillion Cliffs and south enough to pick up Zion.

Death Valley's also striking distance depending on time: may want to prioritize the further destinations if you're moving to San Diego.

In Cali, I like San Clemente Beach (south of LA on the PCH) for easy camping.
