I'm sorry to hear that but aerospace induatey is tough. My dad worked for Boeing, Lockheed, Northup Grummun, LTV, Vought. They kept buying each other out but he was there 30 years and it took a toll on him. But plenty of jobs outside of Dallas and Fort Worth.

The company I work for heavily services the aerospace and defense industries. Boeing, Lockheed, Northup Grummun, Sikorsky, NASA, Space X, Blue Origin and plenty more. We are hiring. Unsure where you are at in your career and qualifications, the position is entry level as we almost exclusively promote from within. We build complex data analysis software used in all softs of bleeding edge high tech applications from commercial to military black site. We prefer to hire engineering backgrounds from the aerospace market. We are on the west coast in the greater Seattle area. PM me if interested in more info.

I have been in Kuwait for 10 months, headed home in December. No plans at the moment to return, even tho id have to think about returning. Enjoyed the job, working with military and civilian aircraft. Guiding in C5, C17, C130 and other military cargo aircraft. Dealing with logistics of cargo, personal ect.. in and out of theater. Im going to miss the friends i made, the long days and nights BSin. The comradery. But it is another experience for me. Can not wait to return state

Headed home in couple days, doing alot of thinking about my stay here from the past 11 months. It was an experience, i will not soon forget. The connections ive made with people. I originally came to work her for the $, but you take away almost everything, you learn what important. Family, health and happiness are most important to me.

I'm just trying to keep myself out of deep depression. A job will come sooner or later. My mental state comes and goes. Just doing personal gigs for gas money lately. Just happy i banked $ when i was overseas.

Good luck, the mental state is not easy to just move on when everything dark and out of reach. But on the flip side there are plenty of us unhappy employed people just hanging on there, some might be worse off beyond a consistent pay check with no end in sight to their unhappiness. Try to find something that makes you a little happy even if it means starting on the ground.
