i found a ‘low-gloss’ black paint at Napa thats in between matte and semi-gloss that works well. Used it in my wheel wells when I pulled the liners/hammered back the pinch welds. I’ll see if I still have a can and post a picture.

I use that home depot gloss black. A buck a can. Once it gets muddy the gloss wears off.

Might not work for you sam, since it just sits in the driveway. You will have one shiny ass undercarriage :crapstorm:

This is my first time doing sous vide. We'll see how it goes.

It's a nice machine. It'll heat up to 8 gallons of water.

I have a pretty nice vacuum sealer too.

For whatever reason the only place I could find it is an office supply place.

I'm thinking about buying a little sous vide machine and drilling a hole into a cheap cooler and running it off the inverter in my camper.
It would be nice to toss some ribeyes in there when I leave work on a Friday and just have to sear or grill them when I get to a campsite.

I've also though about making one with water heater heating element and a plug in temp controller and maybe a bucket/cooler like you said. I made a plug in controller for controlling a chest freezer temp so I can ferment beer in it then use it as a kegerator, its pretty straight forward.

I've brought steaks to camp have have been pre-sous-vide at home. After a few tries, I found that it's best if you unseal the steak from the original vacuum seal and re-seal again for transport.

i was just about to suggest what @siznarf said, pre-sous-vide some steaks and sear it at camp. Just sous vide and re-seal at work with that fancy equipment.

I went to @Dcsleeper408 to get my Bilstein lift installed on my truck. He did great work and recommended a friend to do the maintenance. They both do great work at a fair price.
