How do you like it? They take some time to break it, but they are great after that. The one for my Dan Wesson was really snug, was worried for a minute there.

Absolutely love it. Retention is perfect. I can hold it upside down and shake it and it won't fall out. But it pulls out really easy when clipped onto my belt.

Also ordered an R Grizzle leather CB (Country Boy) OWB holster back in March. That should be arriving Friday. Went with Mahogany color with some black elephant accents.

I made the mistake of talking in the firearm BS thread and now I’ve ordered myself a late birthday present... I blame @JimBeam
Now to see what holsters safariland has to offer...

What’s a little bit more :annoyed:
I decided to go with the ALS only because I don’t think my agency would let me carry this on duty and ALS is fine for competitions.

I loved my Loaded SS Scout Squad. If it wasn’t $2300 I’d have another.

Kind of, we have a concealed carry permit and an option “enhanced” endorsement, it allows carry in almost all places (except federal buildings, court rooms, and when consuming alcohol) and from what I’ve been told the enhanced endorsement allows you to overlook the “concealed carry prohibited” signs at businesses (we all ignore them anyway) but you can still be trespassed from the premises if you are asked to leave.

I don't think any state issued permit is going to allow you to to stay on private property when asked to leave by the owners... at a private business when you see a sign saying concealed carry prohibited, you enter knowing the risk of being asked to leave if your weapon is discovered. In which you need to leave as it is their business and their property. No permit enhanced or not will change that. Now it might allow you to by pass the other areas that are off limits like fed buildings or courts rooms, or gov't own property. But no way that permit is going to allow you to stay on private property when asked to leave b/c of your firearm.

    EDIT:
Just did some research, the enhanced only allows you to cc in more states than the regular cc permit. There is a list of states that will honor your enhanced permit that you can cc in but can't with the regular cc permit.

This arrived today. R Grizzle Leather Countryboy OWB - reinforced, for my 1911. Not much break-in needed, but I'll still go through the process. Mahogany with a little black elephant.

Correct, you can still be trespassed/asked to leave, the instructors used to say that with the enhanced permit you could overlook the signs because while you can still be trespassed with enhanced carry you cannot be charged with the firearms violation that you could be with a standard permit.

It does also allow you to carry in more places (I.E polling places, bars, and college campuses) as well as the benefit of being recognized in more states.

Decided to go with the Olight so I’m not burning through batteries when low light/night shooting.

My slide parts kit came. Now I'm just a complete frame away from 2 Glock 19's. Hopefully Midway will do another sale on P80 frame kits again.20200722_201923.jpg

I love the V2 Poly 80 frames, they’re way more comfortable to me than the Glock frames.
