Hater's Ball - YouTube Channels and Car Shows you hate? RANT

PURPOSE: As the title states, big/well-known YouTube channels or Shows that you hate. Mostly about channels/shows that are off road, truck, jeep, car, and adventure oriented.

WARNING, RANTING IN PROGRESS. This is purely opinions, and opinions don't have to be rational or agreed upon. Purely a venting discussion. I'm sure someone will disagree, but such is life.

FAQ's

• Why should we vent our hate here? Because we can bond over hating stuff, the basis of any good friendship. AND, it feels good to vent into the abyss of the internet.
• Am I/we being irrational? Yes.
• Am I/we letting my emotions get the best of me? Yes.
• Have I/we watched everyone of their videos before I came to this conclusion? No.
• Do I/we have loads of evidence to back my claims? No.
• Do I/we care that about the answers above invalidating our hate of these shows? No.

TFL - The Fast Lane Truck


I'm sure they are nice and cool guys when you meet them, but I just can't stand their videos. Most of the time they aren't telling me anything useful. The comparison videos can hardly be called fair. For example, they did videos about the new Bronco.... all they did was read specs. I dunno, just had to get that out there because I can't be the only one. Plus most of the time they review a vehicle brand new, fully loaded, and never touch it again. I hate channels that are overly positive and just hitting the manufacturers talking points. That's the impression I get from the channel.

 

How bout a positive rant instead? I looooove the Straight Pipes on youtube. Their format is refreshing and high quality. You can tells they love cars and they go in depth about all the features and specs. You feel good after watching one of their videos and want to go ride lol they even did one about the 2019 TRD pro.

Scotty Kilmer, every time one of his videos shows up I want to drop kick my tv. I can’t stand that corn ball.

Although it could be a "Don't Watch That, Watch This!". In the same vain, I love Savage Geese, he's seems super honest and I generally agree with his thoughts on automotive trends.

Well, that's YouTube for you, people will follow and subscribe to these "influencers" for all the wrong reasons.

 

Mine would be RobMotive. Super clickbait stuff and dude just rambles on about nothing sometimes. He hates his Tacoma one video and loves it the next. Super annoying.

You can tell when someone is doing YouTube for the "influencer" type vs. people who make helpful installs/reviews or cool adventure videos.

If I ever start making videos like RobMotive, please report my channel repeatedly until it's taken off of YouTube.

I love his content (breaking expensive things) but I find him kinda annoying sometimes
