    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
This thread isn't very active, but here's a hail mary... anyone in the Redding area, that can help a kid out?

My son's 2nd gen took a shit on him, being towed to Redding Toyota. How is the Redding Toyota Service Dept? Anyone know?

Hoping this goes better than last time he had problems on the road. Mechanic in Medford tried to sell him a rebuilt transmission for his F350 and all it was, was his trans fluid return line had a hole in it.

@Whitebutler... you know anyone up in Redding?

I could be anecdotal, but I have not had the best experience with them. No horror stories, but ignored some requests I was previously told they would be able to accommodate. As far as their knowledge they seem to be up to par. If you have issues in Redding, might be worth heading an hour south to Chico. I've had good results there!

Anymore, I would only go to the dealership if my vehicle still has an active warranty or if it's for a recall. Otherwise I've heard good things about Perry's in Redding. I haven't had any problems with Lithia except trying to get them to do a recall once. But no horror stories about them.

He has an extended warranty. Turns out this may still be covered.

Not really a fan of independent shops in his situation. It's a crap shoot if they'll take advantage of someone in his situation.

Dealership... can do the same... I know. But there is someone to move it up the chain with a Dealership.

Posted on Norcal 4x4 rescue group, but figured I'd check here. Anyone that can spot weld that can roll to Plaskett Meadows? Friend needs it on rear axle of 2000 Jeep Rubicon. Any help would be much appreciated!

I believe it's supposed to provide approximately 2" lift. Thats at stock weight though.
