Just got a mid rise shell for my short bed and would like to get some sort of roof rack setup, but not too sure what would work best with the height difference between cab and shell. Hoping to see what some of you have to get some ideas!

Personally, I wouldn't worry about the height difference. I don't think you should span the cab and shell (like strap a canoe down to 1 rack on the cab and another rack on the shell), because of the twisting between the cab and bed.

Bajarack has exceeded all expectations. I have their cabrack and a megamule mounted to the cap. I've modified the megamule a lot at this point, but it looked great in its factory configuration too. The big black thing is a humongous 2.5m foxwing awning.

I have no issues spanning large loads over both racks either. The canoe's just bungee'd, so it can shift when the frame flexes.
