Is it still a thing for 3rd gens?
Will it give the effect of limited slip in 4low?

    No longer a thing
All 4wd (3rd gens) have some level of brake actuated limited slip in 4lo now.

SR, SR5, Sport, Limited have TRAC by default in 4lo already.
OR and Pro default to open diffs (TRAC off). In 4lo, on those you will need to activate MTS/ATrac/diff locker in 4lo as required.
