I want to get 285/75/16 Nitto Trail Grapplers with a 3 inch lift on my truck. I do not want to get new wheels so im confused if the bigger tires will rub my UCA’s because i dont want to spend extra money on spacers. I was wondering if anyone has done this to there truck or know anything more than I do. Thanks

You will get some minor rub on the UCA's. At least I do.

FYI - I run 285-55-16's right now, which are nicknamed "skinnies". I have about 1/4" between my tire and my UCA right now, before the new tires. Also, my tires rub my Cab Mount slightly.
With the 285's I plan on getting spacers to avoid hitting both UCA and Cab Mount. But I have a feeling I will be doing some mods to the fender. I'm researching that right now too.

I have Copper discoverer AT3 265/75/r16 -4.75 backspace wheels. Tire is very very close to the spindle, but hasn't touched. Does rub the LCA at full lock, on right side only.
285 being .8" wider, I bet you'll rub unless your offset is close to 0

With a 0 offset wheel they won't hit your UCA.
