Curious to see the torque curve compared to the URD Rotrex units.

With a complementing exhaust, quite a bit more gains are there to be had. Those equal lengths over the logs will be another huge increase, following the F/I.

 

I had one of those staring and thinking sessions last night. Here's what i'm shooting for, subject to change once in the vehicle. The FJ has a bunch of room in there so I'd still like to build some kinda airbox and/or re-use my AFE airbox/filter. Would be way easier if the compressor housing was reversed but it's easy to rotate. Headers will be here early next week, then it's all Procharger from there. Already did the pulleys, holy F that crank bolt was gnarly.

 

@PhoS is that the air-to-water IC option? Versus a FMIC.

Im comparing your parts to what's installed in @Smokehouse truck and a little confused.

I noticed in your other photos that it had a FMIC in the kit..... but in these recently photos, it looks to be a h20-air IC.

 

There isn't an air/water option that i'm aware of. My kit is the same as Smokehouse's i'm just not using their intercooler/configuration.

Looks like you're trying to morph the Aussie kit with the ProCharger kit. Am I close?

 

Pretty accurate, I loosely based this on the few images I could find online of other similar setups. I really didn't want to cut up the front end. The URD kit goes under the front fascia(?) with their charge pipes. This isn't even a remote possibility with my All-pro bumper as it fills all those gaps in tight.

Mustang Dyno's tend to read lower than other brands. So they got the nickname of being "heartbreakers" cause you might go to brand X dyno and get say 300hp then do a mustang and only get 285.

Personally...people get way to caught up on HP numbers though. Yours is a great indication of the procharger system though! But there are a hundred and one factors into what the numbers will be

 

Getting close! After some hurdles headers and exhaust are done. Had to make a temporary ghetto intake so I could remove my AFE airbox for space. Once that was out of the way I got the SC bracket in and all the ac lines and stuff relocated. The Procharger looks insane in there! I'm pretty sure i'm out of stuff to order at this point. Gotta wrap up some intercooler bits and finish the charge piping, then we goin boostin.

 

Is their MAF housing 3"?

MAF calibration. Knowing the I.D. tells me what the transfer function should be (approximately).
