I'm a Toyota truck enthusiast. Not some rich collector. Not a dealer looking for flips. I have a pregnant wife, a German shepherd, and a love for camping and Japanese trucks. I've had a 96 4runner, a 99 Tacoma, a 98 LC, a 2015 Tacoma (stolen) and replaced with my current 11' Tacoma.
A week ago I found MY DREAM TRUCK- a 98' sr5 t100 xtracab 4wd in Seattle. Warm White on blue with a bench seat. After telling me they were going to let me buy a flight up and complete the sale (I'm in CA), they sold it out from under me. I don't blame them (they sold it an elderly local guy), but it absolutely broke my heart. Now im more determined than ever to find the t100 I've always wanted.

Must be 4x4, cant be black. Prefer white, bench seat, but im open to every xtracab 4wd. If you know someone with a clean one. Let me know. Will pay the right price for the right t100.

    t1002.jpg thanks.

    Why a T100 ??

Just look for a early Tundra.

Because of the limited production most any Auto Parts store if you ask for parts(except Engine Parts) you get the counter people either all run in the back to laugh or they can`t stop laughing my dealer included .

If your ok knowing parts can be a week or longer out if you can get them.

Good Luck in your T100 search

I appreciate it. Early tundras got bigger and heavier, and while I think they’re cool, I’ve always loved the t100’s. This is going to be my 3rd vehicle for chores and little camping trips. Totally ok with it not being a workhorse, or occasionally Out of service. My understanding of the vast majority of parts actually are shared with either Tacoma/4runners OR early tundras. So there’s not too much difficulty from an OEM mechanical standpoint. Looking forward to something new (to me).

I currently have 2 T100s. Some body parts can be hard to find if you arent willing to buy from a wrecker, most everything else on the truck is either 86-95 pickup or 95.5+ taco. I picked up a radiator last week and it was in stock.

Both of mine have the standard 3.4/r150. I also had a 1st gen Tundra with the 4.7 that I put a 100k on and if you dont need to tow then the T100 is the better truck by far. No rack&pinion steering, fully boxed frame, locking hubs, servicable wheel bearings, manual tcase, no drive by wire TB, etc.
