Been stalking these forums for quite a while. Recently joined and finally decided to post my "build" and see what you guys think. I use my truck daily for work commute and I do enjoy hitting the trails quite frequently.

First picture. My truck, an '08 tacoma trd sport. Acquired in 2012 at 55,000 miles.

    Second picture. My truck today.

The paint. Well ya see, here's what happened.. I left my truck with family for a few months, and it was parked under some pine trees. Upon discovery of the sap and whatnot that had clung to the hood and roof, my dear brother decided to move it into the open. The good ole South Carolina sun baked that sap into the paint. When i got my truck back and washed it, I found that it had damaged all the way through the clear coat. I said fuck it and bought a upol raptor liner kit. I decided to try to paint match the silver, but heard It might come out lighter than intended. So i bought tint that was a shade darker. Well... it came out darker. I did do it myself. I have no prior paint experience so it did come out streaky in a few places but its not crazy noticeable. But hey I like it, and my truck definitely gets its share of attention. Added bonus is it is extremely hard to scratch up now.

I have installed the icon stage 2 kit with JBA Upper control arms. I did end up using icons add a leaf kit and it seems fine to me, but will probably upgrade to a full leaf pack later on. I love this suspension. It works well for my weekend warrior daily application. After lift I got zero new driveline vibrations.

Tires are 265/75r16 iron man all country m/t's. A cheap tire, but they are running great for 10,000 miles so far. I do plan to upgrade to 285's in the near future.

Hoping to do much much more with this truck in the future, but a budget like mine and two kids doesn't help me with what I want to do. All in all this truck is a blast to drive as is and I hope it will get better.

The bumper is a custom build and I plan to modify it in the near future for better approach angle, strength and utility. I did not build it as my welding skills are well below novice.

Sorry in advance I do suck at taking pictures.
