So I swapped them for some LT285s. Same part # as on my Tundra that read made in Thailand that I bought a year ago. These new LTs read made in China. So they are moving multiple sizes to their chinese factories.

I’ve had mine for close to 25k miles and they have been incredible (285/75/17 E rated). Still have plenty of even tread and have worn down slowly. Has handled all kinds of rock/shrub trails, snow/ice, mud, rain, everything.

Ended up getting mine last Wednesday. 265/70r17's mounted on Level 8 MK-6 17x8 -10. I did have some rubbing.. but nothing I couldn't fix over the weekend with a heat gun to push some plastic out of the way and some very minor nipping of others. No more rubbing as far as I'm aware.. even with my rokblokz mudflaps.

Huge thanks to Matt from @Discount Tire for helping me snag my wheels. I did end up getting the tires locally, as there aren't any DTD's anywhere even close to where I live.. but I still very much appreciate all the help! Love my new set up.

3 years and 50k plus miles on mine. I wasn't the greatest with rotating. They are in desperate need of replacing now. All pavement miles, zero off road for my pavement princess (DD). I'm satisfied with them. Not awfully loud. No issues with chunks falling off and all.

Ordered a set this week from Discount Tire ($100 off promo) and had my local America's Tire mount them yesterday.
Look much more aggressive than the Hankook ATM that just came off. Hopefully they live up to the hype.

My experience is that they will live up to the hype. Although they haven't been on for the long term, at about 10,000 miles, I'm still very pleased with them. We have them on both our Tacomas. I'm especially pleased with their wet traction performance. So far so good....

Wet traction was the main selling point. The Hankooks were good up until last season. Four years of triple digit summers and cold winters hardened the rubber turning them into bricks.

Here’s one I’ve not seen before - rock punctured all the way through the tread block and is now causing a leak. Assuming the tire will have to be replaced. SL rated wildpeaks.

That looks patchable from the inside.

Yeah, required a patch + plug, was about as big as the shop was willing to do.

@Discount Tire I was going to buy a set of these from your website today (265/75/r16) shipped to 01824. Yesterday the tires were in my cart showing $100 off. Today that promo is gone although the website said it was active until 8/28 or later? I still want to buy today. Help!
