How big of a cooler were you using before you switched to full hydro?

Same cooler I'm using for my full hydro. It is a 6 pass cooler.

Sounds like you haven’t had any t case failures. How stout are the FJ cases?
I’ve broken a front stock yota u joint and rear 60 yoke (was not a forged yoke) but nothing else yet. Seen plenty of shock loads. Just wondering how hard is too hard on these cases.

Haven't had the FJ case in for very long, used the OEM case for 3 or so years without any issues. I don't think I've heard of anyone have a Tcase fail with photo proof of the failure point, but I've never really looked though. Heard of plenty of ujoint and Toyota drive shaft flange failures after 1ton swaps, seems like those are the next weak point.

I almost forgot about this thread for a minute... don’t worry, @tetten is still fighting Repercussions from this.. Here’s a pic of him on my trailer after I towed my stupid ass Tacoma out to the rubicon because I thought I was gonna be the unlucky one.

Contaminated gear oil in the front diff seems to be the culprit and the harrop elocker carrier.

@tetten this is what you get for calling me a cheap ass in another thread.

To be fair to @tetten let's remember how this started:

@Tacoma1192 elbows deep fixing a broken fuel pump wire in his recently installed fuel cell. Not even 1/2 mile in at this point. lol

Then on the way home. Usually there's that red Taco in the 1st photo on that trailer.

Finally made it back to my house in Bishop. Usually my rig is in my garage getting worked on. Not this time. lol

I had a feeling this double fisting picture was gonna bite me after making fun of @tetten.

Get your trucks ready. I told work I'm out wheeling September 17 through 21st. I plan on headed back out towards central California.

If I had that picture of my rig towing you out of that choke point I would have posted that first. lol

My rigs been ready. Nothing wrong with it other then the usual feels like it's about to fall apart feeling. I'm not working currently so just let me know when and where. And, no, I'm not going "overlanding" in AZ or CO with you and @Mike likes Tacos

Old but I just read the whole thing.

Whenever people jump on someone here about not being an issue, don't waste time its fine, should look at that.

Reason why quite a few outside the US mainly Australia link the front bumper to the sliders to the rear bumper with metal tubing. A custom bend and weld would do you justice. Obviously you'd get great use out of it seeing as your 37 locked and ya know actually use it

I gotta say though, Ive always felt our sliders (and hence the wrap around bar things) are way more beefy than what they got in AUS. Which is odd cause most of the time their stuff is better
