Hey guys not sure if this is the right place for this post. However I am I need of some suggestions as I am new to the Taco community. What are some trusted sites you use for parts? Also, anything I should know about my truck, any tips or tricks?

    Welcome.

There's lots of great places including a bunch of quality mod makers here. What are you looking for?

Before you go buying parts, consider ditching that chin spoiler?:rofl:

What do you mean by parts? I honestly stick with OEM parts for anything non-modified since they are typically higher quality, though you pay for it.

For aftermarket, almost everyone is just a drop shipper so research manufacturers and their products

    Like, so many.
Lot's of great vendors. Really depends exactly on what you're looking for. Armor? Suspension? Interior?

And there is a dealer in my area who is participating in their program to pick from the store, eliminating the shipping cost.

If you want aftermarket parts lookup:

    tacomabeast
    Overland Depot

people sort of don’t like these sites (can be more expensive) but they are great for getting started on ideas.

Thanks everyone for the welcome, this isn’t my first rodeo on an automotive forum. I’ve already made funeral plans for my bank account.

I am looking to start off simple,
    TRD pro grille and wheels.
    Some other exterior things.

maybe some performance stuff, cold air, exhaust etc.. some simple Bolt ons though not sure how extensive the aftermarket performance market is for Tacoma’s.

I definitely prefer oem, however if it’s a good replacement at the right price. I may go with it.

Don’t expect performance increase from CAI and exhaust. Some more noise, yes.
