Sent this to my wife, “what about white? I like white, it’s easy to clean and stays cool in the summer.” She said, “yeah whites cool.” Where do I sign. Ha!

Ok, I kind of figured something like this. I wanted to confirm you found it better to leave this market to get a better deal, noted!

Olathe Toyota got my business - speak with Kyler if you go this route. $100 one way flight and 703 miles back home on Dad's day weekend with my son. Worth every single second. And good luck to you!

Not the best photos but it was April 28 and we were in the middle of the COVID thing. Ordered on 12/14/2019. I was only allowed into the dealership for a few minutes to sign the papers, hence that crappy photos. Still had the stickers on and the plastic on the seats

After my 2020 Tacoma finally was delivered in April it was the wife’s turn. We added this nearly one month after my Tacoma. She loves it! Happy Wife=Happy Life!

GREAT looking truck and Congrats on your even greater accomplishments!!!! I'm certain your parents are PROUD of all you've achieved and even more proud of you as a young man! My son (now 18) is an Eagle too - with 9 Palms (most have no idea what a Palm is - LOL). He just recently bought a 2002 Tacoma TRD SR5 Off Road from a close friend of mine (who bought it new). This is him and his truck below...I think he is wearing a Sea Base or Philmount shirt (you know those too - LOL). Enjoy your truck and please be careful!!IMG_5263.jpg

Why did you trade in a newer vehicle for an older one?

VERY tastefully modded - I love it! I'm a stock guy myself - but yours looks great to me.

The day before I picked mine up! March 20th of this year. I ordered it mid January. If I'd waited another couple of weeks. I doubt I would have it received it by now, or at all!

Not gonna go on & on but the 3rd Gen just wasn't right for me. I almost bought a 2015 the weekend before but my wife thought I should get new. I was a fan of the 4.0 already, had an 09 Taco w/ 4.0. My 3rd Gen went to the shop 7 times in 9 months. I decided to go back to the 4.0 and this FJ popped up & I drove it & loved it.
That's the short version, I love this forum so I'm still here. Mine was probably just a lemon and plus I had that 4.0 on the brain, still enjoying looking at all of your new machines though!

Thank you so much. 9 Eagle Palms is a lot and must have taken a lot of hard work. I believe I'm only getting one sadly and if I would have gotten one or two more merit badges I could have gotten two. Did he get into the OA. Your sons truck looks like it is very well cared for especially compared to the ones in my area. I hope he is also able to drive it for many more miles.

EARNING EAGLE IS A GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT - don't use the word "sadly" with anything in your BSA career...you're on of the FEW that reached the pinnacle!!!!! Again palms...most folks have no idea what they heck they are - LOL. Yeah my son (Buck) is 'Brotherhood' in OA. He did work hard - 78 MB I think (maybe 79-80). He got Eagle just before they changed the rule where you can get awarded palms at the Eagle rank - so he had to wait the period between each palm - he missed his tenth by 2 weeks (aged out). BSA was great for Buck - he started as a Tiger Cub just before he turned 6 and got his Arrow of Light and just stayed with it - very active with everything (lots of trips, hikes, etc). His truck - he bought it himself - but my friend really liked Buck so before he sold it to him he repalced the timing belt/water pump, clutch rear end/u joints/shaft, and a bunch of other things to make it as nice as possible. I think it will last him through his college career (he goes off next August). I'm sure you will be driving yours a long time too. it is a great truck to do stuff with and enjoy. Buck camped out last night with some buddies - he is doing blacksmithing demos at the 127 yard Sale in TN this weekend. His truck is loaded down with STUFF...LOL.
