Hello all! I never really thought about doing a build thread but I realized that I have actually done quite a few small things to the truck and have more plans for the future so I should start documenting them. I will do my best to provide links to everything I added to my truck!

Bought at 9100 miles June 23, 2020 then drove it 300 miles home.

    Specs:
    2018 Magnetic Gray Metallic
TRD Sport Double Cab Short Bed
    Technology Package
    Premium Package
    JBL Audio

First pic when I got home.

TRD Pro Grill (Part # PT228-35170) and Garnish (Part #53141-35060)

I originally went with the Toyota Pro Shop Grill after reading multiple positive reviews. I was very disappointed to find that my TSS system didn't work at all with that grill. After a couple of weeks of debating it and driving with the constant TSS warning on my dash, I decided to return it and go buy an OEM pro grill at my local Toyota Dealership. Set me back $700 (I know, I'm crazy for spending that on a grill) but it WORKS and looks GREAT. No issues since after 1000 miles on this grill.

    Tailgate Blackout Lettering

Bought this kit on Amazon for $20. Worked like a charm. Install was quick and I am happy with the results.

    Blackout Badges

Don't have a picture of these specifically but they are featured in the other pictures. I actually bought the wrong kit because I was for some reason under the impression that I had a 4x4 badge.

    Pop & Lock

No pics again because this is an invisible mod. This mod, for those who don't know, make the tailgate have a powered lock. Toyota wants people to install this by tying it into the driver's door, but I went into the passenger door lock because I didn't want to wear out the locking mechanism if it was just me getting in and out of the truck every day.

    MESO's Blackout Interior Kit

This can be seen in the images of my phone mount, which is next up.

paired with Pitaka Wireless Charging MagEZ Mount

I wired a right angle USB cable later on to make the wireless charger more sleek. Wired it all the way down to the cigarette lighter in the glove box. Now I have a switch spot emptied out for future additions (which there will be ;)) as I don't need the factory USB port to charge my phone anymore.

    Air Dam Delete

Never realized how much I hated this thing until it was gone. After Photo:

    TRD Grill Badge in Inferno

@tacos4cheap really makes nice things! This think looks super sharp and I think it is the perfect pop of color on my gray and black truck! Thanks!

    UPDATE 11-10-2020

    Lots has been added.

    • Anytime backup and front camera from R4T
    • TRD Venture 4Runner Wheels PTR20-35110G4. Installed 10-3-2020.IMG_4211.jpg
    • S&B Cold Air Intake, purchased through @Pablo8. Installed on 10-13-2020. IMG_4249.jpg
    • Bilstein 5100s purchased from @2ski4life7 and installed on 11-9-2020IMG_4518.jpg
    • Falken Wildpeak AT3/W also installed on 11-9-2020.

Honestly, I'd say my build is complete except for headlights. I plan on buying Morimoto XB LEDs on Black Friday. Hoping they come with free Morimoto LED Fogs like they did last year. Might also get the windows tinted as well as an OVTune in the future. Thanks for reading!

Nice truck, excited to see what's next for your rig. The TRD badge you got for the grill is the orange fairly vibrant or does it appear more red?

Thanks! Its pretty orange but I think it's a little darker than a true Inferno would be. Reason I went with orange is because I really wanted an Inferno truck but after months of searching I couldn't find one so I settled on my third choice (behind cement and inferno). Wanted to get some orange in there nonetheless.

Gotcha, thanks for the info, I really wanted inferno too, so instead I did a white truck and am adding a bunch of orange accents. Think I'll add one of those TRD emblems next!

Of course! 100% reccommend. Took about a week to get here total from order placed to being in my hands. I think he has a TW coupon on the thread if I remember correctly!
