Got a mismatched / two tone topper and truck? It's the best way!

Here's mine. Picked it up yesterday.

 

A real mismatch, my 05 with a canopy from a first gen. I was looking forever for one that would match and came across this one for $100 figured it would work until I found one that fit better

 

Haha, nice. I'm with you. For that price whatever works. I tried my 1st gen shell on my second gen but it went back on my 1995. It is mismatched in color and style as well but got it for 30 bucks

 

If anyone is looking for a 2005-2015 Long bed cap for their access cab or double cab Tacoma let me know.

I have a Black ARE Z-series for sale in New Jersey for $750 obo. Would look great on almost any color I think haha

Is it weird that I don't necessarily like color-matched canopies all the time? I kinda like satin black on certain colors.

 

I'm with you. I enjoy being a bit different all around but I also think that breaking up colors can look better as well. My red 1995 tacoma has a blue shell but thats mainly because I got it for 30 buck. When I purchased a topper for my 2015 tacoma I mismatched on purpose

 

Looks good! I always thought white and red worked well. Going to keep it that way?

 

It was an emergency purchase at the time, but I don't mind the '2-tone' look

 

It's actually silver, but it will stay this way for a while. May vinyl wrap or paint it matte black at some point, but think that may be too hot for camping.

 

Why have I not found this thread sooner? Y’all are my kind of people. Here’s my black truck with silver shell. Drove it like this for months without a care in the world. Finally caved to the pressure of my wife and coworkers and painted her black.

I just bought my 2005 TRD Off Road new to me and scored this cap with bars for $300. Really enjoying the color mis-match

Add me to the club - red cap on silver Taco. Doesn't look as bad as I thought but eventually going to repaint it (unless I find one to swap first).
