Bought the wife a 4runner so I have no need for a small pick up...for now. I’m sure I’ll regret it later but I’m looking to get into a sedan.

I waited patiently for the perfect truck to come along in Spruce Mica and jumped on it as soon as I could. I put nothing but quality mods into it and has been perfectly maintained. Washed and waxed regularly. I live in the panhandle of FL so there really isn’t many mud trails or rocks to climb so this thing was a pavement princess. Frame is spotless from rust. All seats/seat bolsters in perfect condition.

Clean carfax, 86k miles. Great+ condition.

    List of mods:

    -Bilstein 6112/5160’s
    -SPC UCA’s (new style)
    -OME Medium Leaf Pack
    -FN 17” Five Star Wheels
-BFG AT II 285/70/17 with 6k miles
-High quality D2S projector headlights with option to turn halo’s on/off with the OEM switch. Clean, crisp, and straight cut off.
-Baja Designs fog lights (May switch these to the 4runner)
    -Yeti cupholders
    -Center console organizer
-Leer Camper shell paint matched Spruce Mica. Carpeted inside!
-Dasaita 9.0 headunit (ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT) apple car play and options galore. Big screen and looks OEM.
    -Rockford Fosgate speakers
-3rd gen side steps for the kids
-Contoured 1" Driver side seat risers. (game changer)

All suspension components have 8K miles on it.

I have all OEM headlights and fog lights saved in boxes just in case.

I’d like to think a sought after color and condition of this truck is worth 26K so that’s what I’m asking.

    26K OBO

Plenty more pics. Let me know what you want to see. This vehicle is in awesome condition. Nothing to hide here.

You can contact me via text @ 2524220025 for a faster response.

@Ripcord ‘s taco was the inspiration for this build. Just on the lighter side of things to fit my lifestyle.

Nice truck! Heck of a deal too. IMO, THE nicest 2nd gen on the board right now! GLWS

Going to have to talk to my son so we can get matching trucks (here). Have a question for you, does your Dasata head unit maintain all the functions of the original?

So if you were gonna find a different Tacoma to upgrade from an 2009 and wanted to spend up to $35k +- what would you look for? 2nd Gen with low miles or 3rd Gen ? And the what to avoid in the 3rd Gen ? Gotta have 4x4, back up camera, blue tooth.

2nd gen TRD offroad although I like my TRD Sport. Just no locker capability in the Sport. Don't know why they didn't do the same in the long bed. Ended up getting ECGS lockers and regeared to 4.30 in mine just recently. I am from PC by the way. Been up here in Huntsville, AL for a few decades now after finishing military career. How about the question about new head unit?

I never bought the steering wheel control adapter because I never use it. Back up camera is fully functional and you can add a front camera if you wanted. I would have to say the dasaita head unit is worth every penny. Reason for the switch was because the entune radio was terrible for me. Dasaita made it 100x better. The screen is big, responsive, screen clarity is awesome, and maintains an OEM look unlike the other aftermarket options. Biggest thing for me was wireless Apple car play or you have the option to plug it up and charge it. Nav, Spotify, talk to text, and so many other apps you can add. There’s a dasaita thread floating around with tons of information.

    thread is here:

    @Arrowshot here’s the thread:
From what many have said and from my experience, the 2nd gens engine and transmission is superior. I’d go for a low mileage 2nd gen regardless if it’s my truck that you’re interested in or not....even though my truck has everything you want :spy:

I think you responded to this thinking I asked the question above. Your truck looks great! I’m working here on Eglin AFB after my 8 years in the navy. Come on down and bring your son with you! Would be fun to have matching trucks especially in Spruce Mica!

Unfortunately he is trying to set up a small business right now and doesn't have money for a truck. Yours should go pretty fast anyway. He and his wife were down in PC the other week but not sure when I will get back down there (have two brothers still there). We have a family elk hunting trip in Wyoming in early September so all my planning/preps are going into that for the moment. I did 24 years in Navy (lot of hardship tours in Hawaii for the surf) then 20 years federal with Army which is how I ended up in Huntsville. Fully retired as of 31 Dec before all this covid crap started fortunately.

That is truly a sweet ride. I will be passing your way Mon. taking gator hunt supplies to Swamp People and some bridge/Pier gaffs to folks in Al. and west Fl.

Your 5160 rear shocks didn’t blow out with the daker leaf spring lift? I have the same setup, but have hesitated on dakers for this reason.

Saw this thread earlier this week and thought, damn that is one clean truck.

Didn't realize it was yours, Rob. I take it back

Just kidding, friendly bump for a guy that builds nothing but super clean vehicles!
