Big plane! I remember the first time I saw it, I think it was in Memphis....It blew my mind!
I like the one with the FedEx plane in it. Nice shots!

Nothing too exciting... maybe a little rust
I took this one last year when I was out at the fuel docks and they were unloading at compass rose. Not too many opportunities for pics though, technically not supposed to take any on company property with a permit.

No photos from me but I was a C130 on skis a couple years ago in Reno. Those skis were absolutely ridiculous.

Howdy, all. I’ve mostly been a lurker - waiting on a Tacoma that a dealer is ordering the way I want. Thought I’d join in the fun. Fly A300s now, but my previous life was a bit more exciting. 40665A16-4263-4055-B32C-E578BEEBEB52.jpg66B83FAA-FF8E-4660-B637-B164AD8C0FD0.jpgEEBD53BF-0F13-42A9-A726-AA899620C329.jpg

A few times, but up high enough you wouldn’t see me. We’ve had some guys from that area that occasionally would drop down lower and do a low approach at a local airport for training. And the amusement of bystanders.

In the U-2 program, we also flew the T-38 as a companion trainer. It allowed us to keep our pilot skills sharp, even if we didn’t fly the U-2 very often while home. In fact, we would take our instrument checkrides in the T-38. This shot was on a formation cross-country, I’m guessing over New Mexico or Colorado (if memory serves).

The T-38s were painted to match our mission aircraft (U-2). So in this case, black. Just so happened to match the MiG-28 nicely...

Welcome to the thread! Thanks for sharing some of your photos. The guy that owned the flight school where I learned to fly was a U2 pilot as well. It's always been a fascinating airplane to me.

Are you flying in the US on the A300 now?
