SOLD 2014 DCSB TRD T/X BAJA SERIES W/2015 TRD PRO APPEARANCE UPGRADES SOLD

For sale is my 2014 Tacoma double cab short bed TRD T/X Baja series. This is the real deal, not a Tacoma modified to resemble a T/X Baja. This is arguably the best 2nd generation Tacoma that Toyota built. 2014 was the last year for the Baja series and the precursor of the TRD Pro. The TRD Pro was introduced in 2015 with body styling changes and a softer front coil spring rate. The previous owner modified this truck to have the body styling of the 2015 TRD Pro. Those changes included the TRD Pro hood with hood scoop, TRD Pro grill, color matched door handles and color matched side mirrors with LED turn signal lights. This truck is truly unique in offering what I believe is the best of both model years.

In addition to the body styling modifications, the truck comes with these options:

I purchased the truck used in Febuary, 2019 from a local car dealership that acquired it in a trade. The Carfax showed it to be a 1 owner vehicle with no issues. The truck was purchased new in California and spent most if the time there before coming to Texas. At the time of purchase the truck had 19,361 miles.

The Good:
Current Mileage: 35,200. Mileage will go up as it is a daily driver.
Front and rear differential fluids changed at 30,000 miles.
Spark plugs changed at 30,000 miles.
Oil changed at 35,200 using Mobile1 5W-30 and Toyota oil filter 90915-YZZD-3.
Interior and exterior in excellent shape. Slight wear on the driver's side seat bolster
Non-smoker, no pets or children.
No mechanical issues. Gas mileage averages 19.5mpg.
Hasn't been off road since I owned it.
The truck has been in Southern California and Texas all it's life.
No rust on the frame or under the truck.
I have all documentation from the time I owned the truck. I also have the Toyota Service Lane report that lists all the information about the truck and all service work done at the dealerships since it was new.

The Bad:
Needs new tires. Still has the original BFG T/A's.
The radio/navigation head unit turns off and back on intermittently.
The front brake pads "klank" when going from reverse to forward. I believe they are aftermarket brake pads, possibly TRD pads but I haven't confirmed it.
There are a few scratches on the frame rails from the previous owner's off road adventures.
The truck has been de-badged and the TX/BAJA decals removed. The only badging on the truck is "Tacoma" on both front doors. The Baja decals are available from Toyota.

The unusual:
The truck was originally Black. When the previous owner did the body styling modifications, he decided to do a complete color change to Super White. The quality and detail on the paint job is exceptional. Unless you look very closely under the hood you cannot tell the truck has been repainted. Several paint and body professionals have looked at the paint job and they all agree it is one of the best paint jobs they have seen. It would easily cost over $10,000 to paint a Tacoma to this level.

The truck is available for inspection in the Dallas, TX area. I am available any time to show the truck. The airlines are offering exceptionally low fares to DFW Airport and Dallas Love Field. I can meet someone at either airport if you want to fly in to see it.
