Holy Money Monday...haven't had one of those in a while...

    Brakes. Brakes. Brakes.

I followed this thread for the front brakes:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/brake-upgrade-stoptech-rotors-trd-performance-pads.523829/

PowerStop slotted rotors up front with TRD High Performance Pads. I was set on the EBC Stage IV kit but, thanks to the help of the TW brotherhood, I decided against that kit due to reports of squeaks.

    Rear Brakes:

    PowerStop Disc brake kit:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074RDHB14/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Everything should be here by/around 8/15 and ready for mod day on 8/29...as long as USPS doesn't FAWK me...again.

    Mod day install list:

    - Hood pin kit...because racetruck
    - Carrier Bearing
    - Front and rear brake kits

Excited for the mod day and looking forward to learning a shit ton.

If I could offer some advice:

when you install those through the radiator support, add a piece of metal a few inches long from the underside to act as a washer and spread the load a bit. I’ve seen two sets of those tear themselves out of the radiator support with hood flutter. The radiator support being so thin, it’s easy to stress the metal enough to crack and with severe hood flutter it’ll stress it and eventually fatigue it to failure.
