The courtesy lights are just wired into the dome circuit. Keep in mind the dome circuit is constant hot 12V with a switched ground, therefore you need to have a separate ground wire just for the puddle lights that ties into that dome ground.

Was that for the running light (white light in the turn signal lamp)? I didn’t wire it up, but you could tap into the tail lamp illumination wire. That would also been below the door sill and run to the connector under the driver seat.

I haven't had time to work on a kit, but I did make a thread about it: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/feeler-power-vent-windows.448620/

I originally got the mirror shells from global rakuten, but that seems like it's not a thing anymore. They are for a hilux surf (Japanese 4Runner) and made by Revier.

I am sorry if I sound ignorant to the fact that I do not know what the E-Locker option is used for? But, my truck is the 2003 Toyota Tacoma with the 2.7L 4X4 4 cylinder and obviously did not come with the E-Locker option, so what I am trying to say is that since my truck has factory ABS would it be possible to do such mod/retrofit on my Tacoma and how would I benefit from doing it?

The elocker is standard on any TRD package 1st gen tacoma EXCEPT the TRD 2WD 4Cyl Auto (my truck).
The elocker allows you to lock the rear differential and put power to both rear wheels equally. If one wheel comes off the ground, the other wheel will continue turning.
With an open differential, if one wheel comes off the ground, the other wheel will stop turning and the wheel in the air continues to spin. The power takes the path of least resistance.

ABS (Automatic Braking System) is separate. This will automatically adjust brake pressure at each wheel based on speed sensors. The system on the 1st gen tacoma is not really that great.
ALL elocker axles are setup for ABS stock. Mine is as well, I just don't have the sensors.

Can you see if you can find a set of these mirror covers, I can't find it anywhere, I tried AliExpress, Rakuten, Alibaba, if you do I will buy a set from you ASAP. Thanks

I contacted Revier and the eBay seller, lets see who responds first.

You my friend are my hero of mods! I love this kind of stuff, just love it! I am working on a electronic E-brake complete with switch actuator and all. This should be a nice retrofit when I am done.

Can you tell me if my truck has the wiring for the e-locker switch, do I need a seperate 4WD computer to make the retrofit work?
