we got buried pretty deep, and we were on track to be completely out minus the house by next year, but me losing my job slowed that down some. We're still on track to get stuff paid off in the next 2 years. Gotta get caught back up financially in the next few months though. Her paycheck is 50% of what it was, with being on maternity leave.

Nope, lost around 25lbs. Not eating fast food and sodas for lunch every day helped a ton.

We stretched ourselves with our first home we bought in FL for $150K. we were in our late 20's. But it was in a nice neighborhood, sold that one 3 years later for $286. Bought one for $287, put about $20K in to it, sold that one 10 days short of 1 year later for $399,900, 1 month before the market took a shit in South Florida in the fall of 2005. could not have timed it better if I had a crystal ball, got lucky. Paid off the balance of my wifes student loans she accrued getting her masters. moved to CLT in late 2005 and now about to sell our second one here.

I paid 150k for my first one in 2010, sold it for 156k 4 years later(sucked), 220k for the next one, put maybe 7 grand in and bunch of sweat equity and sold it for 300 after 14 months. The one in Asheville also paid 220 last year and hoping to get 300+. But now I'm really thinking I may just sell my house here and move in to the flip in AVL, take out time finding a new house here.

I'm not judging man. Everyone's situation is different

Yeah they say I'm in the top 5-10% of earners but I feel like that is fake news

Seems like everything they hung on the walls in this house they used 3” framing nails.
