    have you seen my truck?!

yeah see that’s what I’m thinking. I’m not sure it’s not just the black taco syndrome either. What expensive upgrade do you know of? Wonder if we can run a stronger/better compressor on our trucks...?

I’ll do that man. Anything to help at this point.

Does URD have a rep on our forum? Want to purchase a pulley and maybe an aftermarket radiator, and I am wondering if they are going to do a Labor Day sale

I always forget to check the threads I follow for the vendors. Gadget talks in the S/C thread from time to time.

It's a lack of air over the condenser that's the issue. The stock fan clutch is doodoo, especially if you have a blower. Mine does the same thing, idling, AC on, slowly the truck temps go up above 200 and the AC starts blowing warm. You may want to keep an eye on coolant temps as well, but i'll bet you're over 200 when this is happening..

An e-fan setup would be a big upgrade. I've ridden in two trucks with blowers and dual e-fans and they will freeze you out even if you arent moving. They were custom dual e-fan setups though, and there arent many options for that in our trucks without spending big money or doing it yourself. I think @Oldie2007 is running a single E-fan, maybe he can chime in on how he likes it?

A little something every chance we get.
Yes, I have a single eFan. It has a switch to always be ON when the AC is on, so ..... 2 days a year, it's on it's thermostat. Runs cooler with the efan as far as engine goes, and my 200K old AC works just dandy once I cool down the cab. Like I said about the cabin filter, I had one that had so much "filter" to it, it cut down air flow, so AC didn't feel as cool when blowing hard. Changed the filter back and that changed it right back. I got the fan in Amazon bargain store (returned), so it only cost $100.

Flexalite is the company that makes those right? I think I remember seeing them for sale on LCEngineering's website. 100 bucks is a steal buddy!

Yes, a flex-a-lite. Just didn't come in the original box. Since I was convinced my fan clutch was going bad, for around $100 this was a deal!
