Fenders cut, edges painted. Tomorrow it’ll get the edge trim, flares cut and put back on.

Lines didn’t work perfectly because the inside lip of the fenders were jacked up from the tires, so some of it was eyeballed. Then used my hand following the fender to keep mostly consistent depth. (Word of wisdom, cut your fenders before you up your tire size haha).
Cut with a dremel, then smoothed it all out with a grinder and flap disk.

Flares are back on and cut!

I read someone using zip ties, so I yanked all the plastic clips out (hindsight, a mistake). Zip ties did not work to attach the flares.

Forgot the clip color orientation, but found a video that had the clips on. They go front to back. Orange blue blue blue orange blue blue blue orange. Scored a bag of clips off Amazon with next day shipping for 7 bucks. Got the clips today, slapped the flares on, marked out a 2” cut and went to town.

Tip from @anthony250f was to use a self tapper at the bottom of the flare near the cab. I cut off where the stock screw went in, so a self tapper worked perfect to secure the bottom of the flares.

Passenger side CV was leaking. Got that pulled out and replaced with an OEM spare.

Pry bar method was not happening for me. Ended up running to Home Depot for several feet of 1/8” stainless steel cable, and some cable clamps. Made a slip loop on one end to loop around the CV, then a loop on the other end for a hammer.
After some heavy swings it popped out.

Replacement went in easy, got everything buttoned up, and will top off the diff oil tomorrow. Man I hope I can get to the fill plug without pulling the skid off again

Next step is to get a couple boot kits and reboot both the spares.

How does smog check view that, or do you switch back to stock for a day?

So the air box is all stock, the only thing that’s changed is where the air is sourced from.
I’ve read some people have had issues, some haven’t.
I figure my best bet is to bring the stock air tube with me, show them and hope I’ve got a reasonable tech. If not, I’ll swap it. It’s not hard and the stock tube doesn’t need to be bolted down or anything.

    Makes sense.

I had a brain-dead-moron that could not accept that the Airflow Snorkel didn't change any of the stock intake so he proceeded to be dick and started questioning everything including the front axle and transfer case vents...

Hopefully I won’t encounter that same moron. Had to reroute the intake, so if I have to swap the tubes for a smog it is what it is.

I added another skid today. It’s been sitting around for like two years but finally cut it to fit (because my reroute wasn’t done right...my fault for not bringing the skid when it was done). But it’s on! Not painted, but fuck it, it’s aluminum.

@Bcole is stuntin’ now. Sliders should be here Friday so we’ll get them on this weekend if they arrive on time.

Outer tie rods were toast, swapped those out and got an alignment, good as new! I forgot how much tighter the front end feels when shit isn’t worn out lol
