My 2011 tacoma is pretty close to stock. As of now, all I have done are the headlights and grill, but I want to get a 2 inch lift with new wheels and tires. I can find plenty of information about max tire size on stock tacomas but nothing with a 2 inch lift at least not for 2nd gen. Can anyone help me out by either telling me max sizes with only plastic trimming or showing me a similar setup that works well for them?

I'm a newbie here but from what I recall even if you are lifted you can still only run up to 33" before needing to chop & re-weld the cab mount. I think there is a stickied thread somewhere but can't find it right now, sorry. hope this helps, use the search function and I'm sure there is more information than you will ever have time to read. Cheers.

Not super popular, but I'd recommend a 255/75/R17 if trying to go on the larger side, specifically the KO2 in C-load. The tire is 10mm narrower than stock but significantly lighter than other larger tires and offers similar diameter to common 275s. They are unlikely to rub removing the flaps, but if you want the largest size with minimal rubbing issues, then that would be 265/70R17. See more about optimizing your wheel/tire weight combo here.

255/75/R17 on 2.25 front lift and 2" rear lift, with low profile (higher clearance) Rokblokz flaps and SPC UCAs to move the front tires forward for added clearance.
